|•||This is one of my favorite churches anywhere in the world. It is a lovely place to spend some time and is not in the slightest bit scary – so don’t let the idea of spirits hanging around bother you. My family often went to Mass here when I was small and we lived a few blocks away. The student chapel next door burned to the ground many years ago, and in fact my great aunt and her husband were the last ones married there before it was destroyed. Such a lovely church and campus, no wonder some folks would want to stick around!

|•||“The Blue Lady” ghost is so famous that NBC did an episode of Unsolved Mysteries on her. If you go to the website there’s a video on the phenomena as well. What a spirited place!

She is known for tucking guests in, putting away clothes from the suitcase, and in an incident not reported in this article, reassuring the mother of a sick child that the little girl would be fine….
